1. What is the fees structure for BDT? What are the payment terms every academic year?
First Year – Rs. 1,80,000.00/-

The student will be given a stipend of Rs. 5000 per month from the 4th Semester onwards.
HOSTEL FEE:
Approximately Rs. 7000.00/- per Month which includes Accommodation, mess charges, Laundry for up to 30 pieces of clothing and the monthly maintenance charges for electricity and water charges.
2. Eligibility criteria for admission to the course or the academic qualification required to enrol for the program.
To be eligible for admission a candidate should have passed two year Pre University examination (any stream science/commerce/arts)/ Pre Degree examination/ two years after ten years of schooling or its equivalent as recognized by the Yenepoya ( Deemed to be) University and English as language of instruction.
Vocational higher secondary education course conducted by Vocational Higher Secondary Education, government of Kerala, is considered equivalent to PUC (10+2) examinations of Government of Karnataka Pre University Course.
3. What is the break up on theory and practical hours/day/month for the entire program?
There will be 2 hours of theory and 5 hours of practical every day. The classes on the core subjects will be conducted 5 days a week. The Saturdays will be free for enrolment to any of the compulsory elective courses. Sundays will the weekly holiday.
The student will be undergoing training at Yenepoya campus for 4 months in the 1st Semester, for 2 months in the 3rd semester and in the 5th and 6th Semester they will have a compulsory rotational internship posting at Yenepoya Dental College and Dentcare
The internship will commence in the 5th semester and continue through the 6th Semester. The students will be posted in Yenepoya Campus and at Dentcare on a rotation basis for 4months
4.What are the areas of scope after completion of the program?
There is tremendous scope for the dental technicians in India as well as Globally. The advent of digital dentistry and the CAD CAM technologies have created a large void in the knowledge of the already qualified technicians. As this course has a very comprehensive curriculum that cover all the aspects of the latest technologies with hands on and field work in a commercial lab. The candidate will be very skilled and competent to take up the job profile of a skilled master technician. He can also start his own commercial laboratory.
5.Is placement assured by Dentcare dental Lab upon completion of the course?
The participants of this program will be assured placement in Dentcare Dental Laboratory and also at Yenepoya Dental College Digital Dental Laboratory.
